THREE OF THE FUGITIVES CAPTURED
NASHVILLE- finally! i was able to get joel david, david and jimmy wallace all together for a short but telling interview. they promised me a longer sit down when they hit nashville in late may.
mcn-well guys here we are-finally! its been hard to get you three together.
jw-well, you know with the cole tour and jds hospital stay its been kind of hard. but we're all here now- for ten minutes anyway.

mcn-tell me what makes joel david and lonesome fugitive a band that people will pay to see and spend there hard earned money on your cds?
jw-its the chemistry between all of us. not just jd, dave and myself, but also eli and mike young. we really like one another and absolutely love to play beside one another. its like jello molding together or something. ive never been in a band that has so much fun together.
dw-and that show on stage and i think you can hear that in our music. its like yu can actually see jd facial expressions when he sings the lyrics on the cd. i mean you cant literally see him but you feel what the dude is going through. i listen to the cd and i can hear him smile frown or tear up. i know my playing is so much better with these guys cause i love them.
jd-yeah, i feel the same way. ive been in band where there just wasnt that vibe there. with jd&lf its always there. another thing that is very important, i may be the front man, but the talent lies with these guys. lonesome fugitive is its own band-thay just back me up. they could play with any group country or rock anytime any place. im jus so luck to have them with me. i love all four of those guys!

mcn- how is the move with columbia coming along.
jw-we just signed,but the official signing wont be until june 28 in asheville at our first big show at the orange peel.sorry the show is sold out but you can win all access passes off of the local radio station.
