hey guys and dolls, its just me david. ya know, it cracks me up how some people can get a taste of the truth and blow it way out of proportion. in my blog-coming clean-i told about my battles with demons and how i was fighting them. damn if the haters didnt jump on with both feet. you would not believe the crap thats been written about not only me but jimmy and jd as well.

it has been said that cd&l broke up because of my meth use and that jd was booted out because of his dependency on pain killers. thats total bullshit and it pisses me off that anyone would even think that. it has been well written about why jd left cd&l and why we all disbanded. for those who have stuck with, we love you all. for those of you who need an explanation, read our blogs. for those of you who judge us based on rumors, well i guess you can kiss our asses. Im fine, working it day by day. jd is fine. if you saw the scar left by the hole in his gut you would say man take another pill. to his credit he takes about a fourth of what the drs. tell him to. the guy is tougher than anyone ive ever met. jimmy as far as i know has no hang ups at all. he does his own thing and goes home to his family.
so thats all i have to say. we love all of you that has stood by us through thick and thin. if any of you have questions for any of us please email us here on fuzz or leave a comment. i promise we will be nothing but honest with you.

its been a few days since anyone has updated our blogs-and lil dave has put the chore on me. nothing much to tell really. we've been writing alot. mostly cry in your beer stuff. guess dave and i are in the same spot emotionally. i call him a kid, but he's deep. anyway we just got the itenerary for the upcoming tour and it looks like everybody is going to make the shows. we add the shows on fuzz just as soon as possible, but i think they're already on the myspace site. we're all excited to be hitting the road and get out there with you guys. playing live is our favorite thing to do. until we see ya, please stay safe and keep us in your thoughts and prayers. we love you-jd

hey all! just a small note to let ya'll know that our trip to malibu went great and it looks like a move there is going to happen in the near future.
man, me dave and jimmy had such a blast in cali. we actually went into the studio and recorded a few rocking tunes that will one day be released in our other bands name "dead mans ballet" it a much harded sound but it soothes the beasts in us.

my health is great, feeling better every day thanks to the drs and my family and good friends.

hey guys and dolls. just me tidal wave dave or lil dave as jd so lovingly calls me. i guess you have heard or read about my recent bout with the bad stuff. well, most of what youve heard is true.

ive been battling the disease of addiction for the past year and, thank god and good friends and bros like jimmy and jd, ive finally given up the intoxicants that riddled my life for so long.
dont let anybody tell you that with fame (or what we call it) doesnt bring access and excess.
i started with booze and moved to pain killers after brians back surgery. from there i moved to meth. thats definately a big fuckin' monkey to have on your back...
how did i kick the dragon? i saw my best friend(jd) almost die. i heard his words and what he thought was his dying request of me. i quit cd &l, went back home and finally to jds. I did out patient treatment (thanks dr. morris and all)and now im living day by day. the funny thing is i dont miss the junk. after the body cravings i had and with drawels, i lost my taste for it. thank god.
many thanks to all who have prayed for me and to those whom ive hurt with my bullshit, im sorry. please give me a chance to make it up to all of you. im a new man with a new plan and i have good people around me. i know that with their support i can remain on the wagon and continue to defeat this disease.
jd wrote a song while he was in the hospital. it was about me and one of my slips. i just finished writing the music for it and i must say that it is great. his lyrics are amazing. its so funny to me how he can put things so simple and so profound at the same time. any the song is called " accident" and im going to leave the lyrics on this blog. please read it. if out there using-stop. want to stop. find someone to help you find your way. i promise you that there is someone out there who cares for you and wants you to live-sober.

wow, i cant believe how many people that i have came in contact with that is really digging us and our bands sound. we really do appreciate all of you and if we forget to thank you its davids fault!
a quick shout out to j.r. at harrah's casino in cherokee nc. man, youre a true friend and i thank you for that. cant wait to jam with your son.
health update-im feeling soooo much better. see the dr. tomorrow and im expecting a good report. thanks for the cards and letters, prayers and thoughts.
